About

Hi there, my name is James Razko, I’m a visual artist and writer. Thanks for visiting Memos Mine, my labor of love.

You might be wondering– what is this place and why am I here anyway?

Well, that’s a huge question…

Isn’t it?

Memos Mine is a collection of original content (The Memos) and concise summaries of the best articles, books, podcasts and other greatness I find illuminating (The Mine).

The Mine is always compiled from expert sources and aims to help me and you live a more fulfilling and kick-ass life.

To give these finds a second life, every so often, I send my best digs inside a free email.

Memos Mine is here to give you a bit of wizard-like knowledge to conquer your day and become your best you.

If you join the mailing list, here’s what you’ll get:

  • One brief and stimulating email every two weeks or so.
  • Free (kick-ass) knowledge.
  • No spam– It’s awkward.
  • Yup, Your email is safe. It’s stored deep in some scary place in The Mine.
  • Unsubscribe anytime.
  • My promise– to try and never suck and to deliver the best possible content I can.
  • Love and appreciation.

Coming back to that huge question above; I believe the road to purpose and fulfillment is assembled with empowering knowledge– of ourselves and the world around us.  Memos Mine is my answer to that question. I want to share my passion and serve you.

This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they are a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice.
Meet them at the door laughing and invite them in.
Be grateful for whatever comes.
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.

P.S. I also like avocados, plants, and handstands– they don’t have a home, yet.
